Anyone else using this software? Best thing on the net in ages, just listened to new albums by John Frusciante and M Ward, other than a short 30 second advert every hour I can't find a fault with it. Been on spotify for a couple of weeks now.

It's the best thing in my opinion since Napster. I'm waiting for the catch.

We all listen at work. The hardest thing for me is deciding what to listen to next.

It's like all the albums i could never afford to buy at my finger tips. I rarely get to the end of a song because I've thought of the next one.

The only downside is now that I can have any song I've ever wanted immediately for free, I can't remember half of the stuff I always wanted.

I reckon this is what becoming rich must be like.

Is it legal to be giving music away free?

I belive it is free.. its just streams?

Been non techy does that mean i can download to my i-pod or not?

You are paying for it by allowing adverts.

If you don't want adverts then you have to pay

As quoted elsewhere, the adverts cover the cost. This is completely legal and above board, with full buy in from the major labels. They actual see this form of streaming as the future of music (I don't agree with that BTW - I still buy vinyl). It's a great way of listening to the new Bruce Springsteen before comitting to buying the product.

It sounds too good to be true I know, trust me it's legal. I found it via the Guardian last Saturday which did a feature on it.
