I was cursing the fact he wasn't on the pitch with 50 mins to go, but in hindsight, holding him back until Wire were fatigued was a great call from Potter.

Was naming him at 13 meant to give him more of a free role, maybe to pick and choose his runs more, and let t'other props hit the brick wall? That's what I reckoned on.

Good point. We seemed to fire best when he started having defenders hanging off him.

it did worry me a little how much of an impact he seemed to have. he has come from an average NRL team and had to swap his national team in order to play in the world cup yet he looks like he is going to make a big impact in our game.
does this show us how far our game is behind the NRL defensively?

Story was that he had a very good season last year.

It was his first game, give him a few weeks to settle into SL rugby.
