It looked fantastic on Friday, considering the time of year it is at the moment. I'm sure the pitch will hold up

I thought, given the recent weather and the use it's had since the close season started, that the pitch looked pretty good on Friday night.

It looked really bad on the highlights but Odsal has always had heavy pitches in winter.
