Have you added up the available funds from the departure of the players I listed? more than enough to afford 3 top players in key positions.
O Carroll's not good enough? a) we're taking about a team for the future 2-3 years down the line. Is O'Carroll's not good enough what is Coley?

So out of 17, 13 already play for us and you say this is unrealistic?

If we'd of kept those bright prospects that we got rid of to bring in average aussies we'd have a great team now. Adding them with the british prospects we have now and i think this could challenge the current Wigan team. Apart from Hansen who was English at one point but did come through the ranks

Noble said after the match that Bailey and Riddell should not have gone back out but had to as they were short of bodies.
Bailey's shoulder was busted and Riddell had an ankle injury.
If neither are available then we have cover for Bailey in the back row.
McIlorum to start at 9 and Sam Tomkins bench for the interchange.
I'd go for Richards at f/b for the balance of the team.

Trouble with that line up is I can't see Noble going with Ainscough & Sam in the same game. One of them but not two.

Really? Granted you'll have seen him play a lot more than me but could he really cope defensively at full back in his first SL game? On second thoughts I agree with you about Vievers, maybe Bailey at centre with Goulding or Carmont at full back would make more sense if Roberts, Richards, Phelps and Mathers are all out of contention.
