Yes, they did that 3 times, Byrne was the culprit on one occasion, what ever was said at half time did the trick, they never tried it again.

So far the only thing that has really changed IMO is that we are completing more sets and finishing with a good kick. However, even that would have won us a few more games last season. Lets see how they are going in about 6-8 games time.

I think it is early days, I believe the partnership will only get better, they looked comfortable with each other. They will come into their own as the weather improves and the pitches get faster.

it's a question of balance, and that will come with time. I don't think Horne/Thorman are ever going to be an "outstanding" pairing, but they will do a solid job for us and allow each other to have moments (like Horne's try)
I'll take a stable pairing that is solid over a patchy (but occasionally brilliant) pairing any time.

Doing the basics well can sometimes win you games when perhaps your overall game isn't at its best. We lost alot of close games last season simply because we put pressure on ourselves.
