Good riddance if the fool is so petty....... Its not as though they are going to re-arrange 1 of our fixtures to accommodate the crust munchers. Some folk just need the most feeble of excuses to keep away.
How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

I have to say that is the one thing I just dont understand
If you dont want to go to watch your team fine , dont
But do not make up excuses that put the blame on the club
Just say " I am bored with the sport , lost interest , have found better things to do , having a break , cannot afford it or whatever else
But if you convince yourself that it is the clubs fault you will become bitter and forever negative and will influence others not to come or to stop coming and most likely will never feel comfortable returning yourself
And that is wrong

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
No one can say they a bored with what Neil Kelly is doing at Leigh at the moment. When was the last time we had a team full of young Leythers playing without fear. The sad thing is, is the town just isnt interested!
On a crusade to return Leigh Centurions to their traditional colours of Cherry & White.

I think there is the interest, we just need a few positive results against the big guns to finally convince the doubters that we have indeed turned the corner after a couple of years of dross.

Unfortunately some of our so-called fans have an inability to see the wood from the trees.............Selective Myopia, let them go watch SL in the pub.

They will be. I have to say the atmosphere was nil in there today. One man said behind me said that there was no atmosphere and I felt like saying why dont you do something about it then, but I was sat there silent. The PA had no build up to the teams coming on the field and our mascot is as entertaining as a funeral. Bring back Parky Pig and his hovercraft.
Playing like we did today and winning against the top teams will bring so many in but the club need to start putting together an initiative to attract families. I hate being sat near fans with drums and trumpets but we need that sort of thing. I stood near the tunnel and looked at the players faces as they came off the field and to me they looked let down by us all. They played very well but looked deflated. I think I will change my ST to the north stand.
If someone brings a drum then they can have my season ticket
Never likely to be 'bouncing' for a game like today, would hope that would change for the 'Haven game as it's usually a good atmosphere against that lot. Be interesting to see whether they join us in the North Stand or the LSV open the South for them.

Keep them in the south stand.

I'd actually have a bit of a curve ball here and open the northerly section of the East Stand for them, would be better for banter purposes but minus the radiation risk. Would hope for common sense stewarding though as, like ourselves, 'Haven would certainly have an element who would wish to stand whilst watching the game and, if I was a visiting fan at the LSV, I'd be a little peeved that home fans have a terrace while away speccies are forced to sit down and shut up.
