I would say that we had around 750 fans in the away end. I think it would have been a few more but for that awful game against Wakefield last Sunday.
I agree with people who said the KC seemed a bit quiet last night. Only a couple of renditions of old faithful and even then that seemed a bit half hearted from what we could here. The chants of c'mon you Hull showed just what a noise the KC can have in it though.

Me too, each section holds 500 and looking at the spread across the North Stand I would say you could have squeezed them all into 1 and a half sections.

Was sat in W10,
The East and the South stands weee pretty much full. In comparison to last season the west stand had a lot more in it
Thoughts Wigan brought a decent number considering a few would have been put off by their Wakey performance and the vague chance of bad weather hampering their journey.
Not a bad crowd, thought the atmosphere was a bit flat tho i thought
Shocking turn out from Wigan tho, they only brought around 500/600

Gwyllam(sp?) reckoned on the way home that well over 14k Hull fans had turned out. I though around 400 fans from wigan. The number of fans looked about right. There were gaps in west stand, South stand as well and of course the North Stand was over half empty. Doesnt look like big gaps in South and East but if you look there are sometimes a lot of single empty seats which tends to make the area look full. I always remember a guy who worked in security saying to me that when the police look at crowds through a camera how many single empty seats there are even when a section looks full.
Atmosphere was a bit flat last night I thought apart from a couple of occasions. I do think the style of rugby chosen by both teams has an effect. The crowd got up when the only real line break from inside our 20m Hull took place and ended up the wigan half.

I didn't expect to have to queue to get in. The atmos' was a bit quiet at times but it's the first game, people are still unsure about how good we are. As it turned out, the team led from the front and if we keep putting on performances like that the place'll be rocking. James Rule must be giving himself a good slap on the back. I didn't agree with fri' night but here we are and i'm pleased it seems to have been the right thing to do.
