Also the club didn't count all those in the variety centre Capacity 1000 or the other two suites that were full.
but we won we have two points we have something to build on and for once we played very well on TV.
Or we could try organsieing the Dutch underground movement into an en masse pogo stick athon to see if a mini tidal wave could be generated, that way things would get washed out to sea and there'd be no chance of salvage.
Me and are kid (TheButcher) putting the world two rights.

Well go and support then then
OK 4K was not as impressive as the HUGE crowds all the other muppets on here spout off about.
Salford have had 2 relegations lots of false dawns and teams in the past that have promised much but delivered little.
We are still here and will still carry on supporting,in the hope that one day we will be back up there.
Fook those who have a go at us

Its our first game for feck sake and it was Celtic. I'd rather we built a fan base over three years based on the fact that rugby league is an attractive and entertaining spectacle rather than getting a bunch of glory hunters turning up for the first few games becasue we are back in super league and then disappearing as soon as we lose a game like football 'fans'. The fixture list has done us no favours with us now having 2 away games followed by quins who aren't going to bring many up. I thought the crowd was pretty good last night all things considered. Yes I do think we need to do more marketing. There was nothing in my lads school which I would have expected for the first game but I think we were always going to be fighting a losing battle due to 1. The game being against Celtic who are not going to bring many up 2. it was on tv thus meaning even fewer celtic fans would travel and even some salford fans would opt to watch at home and 3. It was valentines day and even amongst the most hardened fans there will have been some who lost the battle with the Mrs (personally I dragged my hubby to the game instead of going for a meal but I must be in the minority of women). Lets not make judgments so early on. The whole point of having a 3 year franchise system is that it will take time to build both team and fanbase. Those who are interested in healthy debate on how we might improve our fanbase feel free to carry on. The hull feckwits who choose to talk bollards please stick to your own forum where you all speak the same language.
