Yeah I agree with that as Scruton brought more to the squad than simply his playing ability. The 'home town boy' factor motivated him and gave him an increased pride whenever he put on a Leeds shirt.
I don't know why but I think we will see him in a Leeds shirt again. He is only 24 after all.
As to what to do without Big Greg anyone think we can get Éric Anselme back or have I been out in the desert too long?

I know what you mean with the development of younger players but as the squad starts to develop little niggles and injuries would it not be better to have a player that has some experience and imo fitted into the structure of the team quite well. Plus if Anselme/A N Other could be taken on a short term contract it would not be to the detriment of the younger players.
Am I the only one who thought Anselme gave a good account of himself in a Leeds shirt last year?
