Without Bailey and Collins Easy Lover we may never have had Fur Q's Uzi Lover though.
That song was, like many of my killings, ironic.
"When will they see sense and bring back the 10 bob note?"
Were Wakefield the most negative side to ever come to Headingley? The showed no ambition to win the game and were on a pure damage limitation excercise before kick off. I know they have injuries but the mentally to win games should be strong, who ever plays.
I did not attend the game, but one thing baffled me.
Why the f*ck would any team kick 2 points for a penalty when 12-2 down???
John Kear has done OK at Wakefield, but he's only a small club coach trying to scrape the odd win. He'd never do well at a bigger club with such negative coaching methods.
The season starts in October. Until then, don't panic!

Negative & Boring.
What difference does 2 points make at 12-2?? Leeds players and coaches must have been really worried that Wakey were eating into Leeds' lead :):):):)
Wakey deserve Kear. They'll never make Top 8 this year. They do look a good bet for 2012 Northern Rail cup though.

because we were down to 12 men at the time taking the kick allows at least a minute to kick re set for the kick off and the ball for another 6 tackles, condtions were heavy underfoot good tactics for me, bearing in mind we were held up over the line gifted you 6 points although I believe JJB was offside at the kick off (will see on Sky tonight)
Thanks for the confidence we will be in the Northern rail as SL world champs you seemed to have some difficulty yourselves taking on a scratch side hay ho though Leeds are more holier than others these days.

I have every confidence Wakey will not be in SL in 2012. Unless they get a new ground sorted.
I don't read too much into early season form. It's in October when it matters, and by then all the Wakey players will be on holiday and the fans interest in the season long finished.

Because Wakefield were down to 12 men at the time!
In those circumstances most coaches would take the opportunity to get easy points on the board and knock a couple of minutes of the clock.
