The performances have been poor for much of his time in charge. This year so far we have been beaten by a team that came 11th last year, missing 2 key players and there marquee signing from the NRL. We have been beaten by a club that could only field 17 full time players and who struggled last year.

Lets not pretend all is well and we are moving in the right direction as we are not.

I want the best for Wigan RLFC and if I think looking at the bigger picture a loss next week will be to the benefit of the club.

Back the club or Walk Away do not undermine the club How can Cas beating us on Friday be best for the club it might be best for your own agenda but its not best for the club.

Supporters like you Wigan Warriors RLFC do not need if you are as good as you say apply to I.L. for Nobbys job and lets see how good you are.

Appreciate what you are saying but you are asking that fans give unquestioning support and blind loyalty irrespective or, in short, to be sheep.

I agree that when the chips are down you all need to get behind the club; however, we're not in that situation. This is about healthy debate about what we feel is the best overall for the club; Jon should no more apply for Nobby's job than those who give unquestioning support should go into a field and eat grass.

This comes down to two things:

Jon - Correct me is I'm wrong - believes Noble's taken the club as far as he can and it's time for a change. He's not the only one that believes this.

Andy - Correct me is I'm wrong - you appear to trust the club's management completely and will let what will be will be and we should trust them or find another club.

Personally I'd like Noble to go to be replaced by Lam and a support team of his choosing, ideally including Wane & Farrell (when he can secure release from his Union contract). I'd rather this change take place sooner rather than later so the new coach can come in and assess the playing staff before the end of the season; that way he can have a better idea of what the club needs.

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.

You stated you suppored millward in his stay here..."if" we had got relegated would you have still supported him? or called for his head ?(serious question)..while I want wigan to win..I don't think I could support a coach I had no faith in (millward being a prime example)..I support the club but sometimes as with all things in life..you have to do what you think is best..and I don't mean booing the team (though I understand why some do) I don't think noble will take us any further (though I will be happy if he proves me wrong)..I can see where jonh is coming from..he wants the best for the club as do we all....but unless noble changes his style of play..we will either die of boredom or think (more so as times are hard now) of better ways of spending our money...all I ask of my team is to entertain me if we lose and it's been a good game I can live with that..after all thats what we pay for..now we have to see if they can deliver that.

I can understand both points of view. Maybe Noble has taken us as far as he can but he deserves the chance to carry on his work seeing as we've improved every year since he took over, this playing style issue has just been magnified due to the poor start.

One thing for sure, throwing a game is riddiculous.

Your right they didnt, however romans stood by and watched the wrong man in charge burn it to the ground overnight!

Not saying nobby is wrong man, but what he is doing at the moment is clearly wrong.

Everyone could see we needed at least a stand off and a prop, but definately a stand off.

I dont buy this slow start but will come good at the business end stuff either, winning is a habit unfortunatley so is loosing.

This year is the first year for a long time where we have had a full squad to pick from and we get hammered by wakfield (they should have got 30) and beaten by a hull side in their first competative game!

But dont worry all will be ok come playoffs as thats when we start playing well!

Perhaps we as fans should take a leaf out of the players and nobles book and just show up for leeds and the playoffs.

What agenda? Stating i should apply for the position is just silly.

If people questioned management and the leaders of the organisation a bit more we may not as a country be is such a mess with the banking. Simply because someone is in a position of authority it does not mean they are beyond question.

You cannot follow blindly. The reason i want Noble out is because i do not think he is the man for the job and is infact harming us more than helping us. I have made this assessment over the last 2 years. Noble will not walk away so i think a loss at Cas will force IL's hand.

Sometimes for growth you have to take a short term hit, a loss against Cas for me is that short term hit for the long term future of the club.

I can see your point but we've still improved every year under Noble so to ditch him, for me, is rash. Stability is key with a proven coach.

I watched Salford and Celtic last night. Both team had numerous new players, yet played more rugby than Wigan. The plays that put Duggan over for his 2 tries were a joy to watch. As a Celtic fan I would have been Happy with their 2 performances and yet they're at the bottom with Wigan,
Saints impressed me because when they went 16-14 up against Wire, they continued to play attractive rugby and not shove it up the jumper as Wigan did in the second half at Hull.

In what area have we improved?

Defence
Attack
Ball Retention
Giving away fewer technical free kicks?
Discipline (how many sent off last year)

For me the only place we have improved under nobby, is that we dont seem to pick up as many injuries as we used too.
