I bet most of us expected somewher near I said on the way to the game to expect 4000.
Yes we get poor crowds always have and always will compared to the majority of the league. As long as over the next 3 years we can develop a stronger youth system ensuring more english players, move into a new ground, be a competitive team who aren't just there to prop up the table I couldn't give a ratsarse if we don't set the world alight with our attendances

1. Valentines Day
2. 7.30 KO Saturday evening
3. Televised live on Sky
I know loads of people who were affected by the above constraints last night and I am sure others are the same. Last night will be our lowest crowd of the season and if that is the case then we are improving and thats all you can ask for.

I`m realistic rather than embarrassed about the attendance , If i`d mentioned we were going to get 7000 at the Willows last night I would have been laughed out of the room..

roll on global warming just an 11 inch average rise in sea level would see Hull disappear of the map, that would be my worry if i lived in Hull not what a team playing 133 feet above sea level first match of the seasons attendance was.
Also the club didn't count all those in the variety centre Capacity 1000 or the other two suites that were full.
but we won we have two points we have something to build on and for once we played very well on TV.
