Just watched highlights and for first game we looked pretty good. Defence solid and plenty of movement around the ruck - thought both hookers, particularly Moore, looked very lively. Second rowers look really quick and when we got on a roll it looked like Catalan couldn't cope with us. The look on Ryles's face after the collision with Griff was priceless - didn't have a clue where he was!

Whats up with Crabtree ?

He pulled up limping - possibly hamstring? Or maybe dead leg...went off and didnt come back on. Fingers crossed its not serious.

Kevin Brown played extremely well at 6 too. Superb break and pass for Hodgson's try.

A couple of contentious calls to disallow the two tries two, both could
have bee given on other days.

Agree with VR about Wild's but Hodgson's length of field could (should?) have been given on Benefit of Doubt as no clear view was shown on TV unless VR has further views.

well done to you, i thought you looked very good against catalans, never let them play and always in there faces and tbh at least one of your dsallowed trys was a good try nothing wrong with it, i think you are in for a very good season on that game men

From what I saw last night Griff was real good. He beasted Mogg, then totally winded Ryles. Looks like a good season ahead for the big man.

Not good news. Thankfully we have some good strength in depth with the forwards so hopefully will be OK. Hope Eorl is back soon.
