Wow, what a change of heart based on one game!!!
I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

He showed what he can do when fully fit and playing in his preferred position. TBH he showed promise at full back every time he played last season and i was impressed with him at centre at the start of last year too. Tough choices when Motu is fit.

It's unfortunate for Byrne, who always gives his all and rarely lets the team down, but I can't see how he'll get a spot in the 17 when all are fit. His versatility might make him worthy of a bench spot, but I'd much rather have four forwards.
My thoughts too. Good to have a dependable player to be able to bring in and know he will do a very good job for the team. However he is not first choice in any of the positions he can play.

Its pretty obvious that Byrne, G Horne, Hall, Whiting etc wont be first choice in the 17 when all our players are fit and if we could have brought a centre in like we were trying to.
For now Agar made his selections, we won the game and the players under pressure really performed. It would be a terrible more by Agar to change a winning team to put in Hall or Motu if he is back.

Depends if he sticks to his words about playing horses for courses. The weakest part of the Celtic team is their defence and we need to exploit that by having as many attacking players playing as we can.
