Thats the bottom line, yes. Your southstand season ticket is not a guarantee of entry into the southstand, all things being equal it should be, but given that its sold out for the season and its going to be at capacity for all of the home games, and given that people can stand where the hell they like and take up as much room as they like and not feel obliged to shuffle along and fill up the gaps often left in the middle of the blocks so that the stewards think there is crowding near and in the aisles - then they reserve the right to divert you to somewhere else in the ground.

Not true as you could, and I did, buy tickets for the SS on the day. This maybe an exception, the on the day bit, but you can buy them in the run up to all games.

Anyway.. Regarding season tickets . Has anyone else had problems with them peeling ? I have three gold member tickets here and two of them are falling apart , not a good sign considering they are supposed to last for more than one season and we are only at the beginning of the first one .
yeah my silver card is peeling on the front. I doubt it'll last the three years its meant to.
2004, 2007, 2008. Proof, if it were needed that cheating on the cap isnt needed.
Maybe but I have had no probs buying tickets for the wife and 2 daughters for the SS over the years. They are all members this year as opposed to the 2 girls being season ticket holders in past years (now at uni so season ticket not viable) so on Friday I rang and got 2 onto their cards no probs, plus 1 freebie

These forums have a anti-Bramley-filter built in to them?
I'm actually living in LS12 now , but spent most of my life a stones throw from Maclaren Field . Used to go there and was a season ticket holder for years . Even had an advert board behind the Daisy end posts at one point . The board came with 4 tickets per game for 400 quid a season iirc . Was useful , could go for a beer or three in the rugby ground on an afternoon in the bad old days when the pubs used to shut for a couple of hours

Indeed ... and with a seat number you don't have to get there an hour before kick-off to reserve your spot.
That fact alone improves my "match day experience" hugely.
In that saved hour, I can pop to the chip shop and/or have a pint in the cricket seats (or a Wilson's pie now) or simply turn up just before kick-off ... the choice is mine.
