The pressure on Tomkins will be in a year or two when he hopefully will be playing week in week out. Right now he just needs time on the pitch.
I dont disagree re development and time on the pitch, but given the mentality of alot of our fans, if when he comes in and doesnt tear it up straight away, he will cop flack and be boo'd etc like the rest.
The constant links to Edwards and people demanding he is given his go to "save us" is pressure imo and totally ott.
