Higham's try didnt go to the video ref.

Smith gave the try on the spot.

Felt sorry for Higham, thought he did his best, worked his guts out and made big time charlies like Monners and King look like shythawks. He could be better than Jon Clarke to I think

So head coaches should hand-pick officials? Refs are now 'allowed' back? A dazzling personality should be a pre-requisite for SL refs? Shame you couldn't blame him when it really mattered

Gardner's no try could have been given.

Higham's try was touch and go.

He gave a knock on against Fa'asavalu when it was clearly stolen prior to Rauhihi's try.

He gave a knock on against Carvell when it was stolen prior to Gilmour's try.

Gardner's try was touch and go.

There was a clear forward pass prior to Gidley's try.

Armstrong clearly knocked on.

With the exception of all of this, the officials were brilliant.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Why not?

There was nothing wrong with it, at first glance it did look like Higham knocked on, but when you look again he doesn't. It was a try
