I watched the game when I got back from Hull last night and made the comment that had Wigan had Gidley in place of Goulding Wigan would have won comfortably.
Gidleys decision making is superb, he very rarely gets it wrong, Darryl Goulding made three errors of judgment last night (all in attack) and three tries went begging.
Gidley is a class act, ask Ade Gardner.

Gidley was indeed awesome and deservedly won the MOM award.
However is no-one going to mention the role of Gilmour in the other centre position? Gilly was total class and IMO we have no worries with him playing there all season. He totally outplayed that Wigoon reject Johnson.

His decision making is brilliant. He almost always makes the right move, one of the smartest centres I've ever seen. Gilmour played well in the left centre slot though aswell IMO.
