He put several excellent skoots in to clear our line and did all that was expected IMO. Solid start to the season.
The two try saving tackles that Bryne put in were awesome but they both resulted in breaks caused by Yeaman looking for the big hit but not getting there in time. It must have been our view from the East stand, but plenty around me were of the same opinion.

I'm no doom and merchant. I really enjoyed the game, thought we looked solid if not spectacular. it was a good base to start the season from. If it wasn't for our mistakes Wigan wouldn't have got near our line last night. We are going to need to build steadily all year and not expect miracles. The attendance was OUTSTANDING, I for one may have to eat humble pie concerning Friday nights. I think Kirk is a top bloke, bu his lack of concentration infuriates me!!!!

One was, but one was Briscoe drifting in when it wasn't needed.

I just think when Raynor is fit it will be either Yeaman or G. Horne who makes way. At present I would keep Horne in and move Briscoe to centre. If Yeaman can get his act together he is one of the centres in the country but he needs some serious 1to1 coaching at present.
