Anyone else see Shandy Bass on the front page of The Journal - BLESS !
Apparantley he's going down every day until the demolition work is completed, probably looking for any Mickey Higham souvenirs. I see he's wearing a Leigh 'Super League' shirt, probably the last time he saw a Leigh game. Nice one Richard, what a Guy. Always used to have a good laugh with Shandy (not at his expense, before you ask) just never see him around anymore.

Get yourself down to the old ground and you'll see him
Think shandy will stick to his vigil and visit the site every day till the site is flattened. He has obtained a few souvenirs this week I believe.
The best road in Wig@n is the one that leads to Leigh !!!

Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting. George Orwell

Hugly Bugger int he?
Rugby League is folklore. What captures our imagination is not simply the winning or the losing, it's the stories. The stories of perseverance, of sheer will, of hard work, of heartbreak, of miracles, and of triumph and tragedy.
