Looked pretty slim though - maybe all that dieting had worn him out

Maybe he has been snowed in and couldn't get to a Maccy D's.

Cusack was outstanding last night.his best game so far for us.my MOTM.
Also thought dowes was excellent,he looks a lot stronger and made much more of an impact with his carries.

We played the perfect game i think. Our forwards coped with everything they threw at us lead by Cusack and Radford. Our defence was fantastic with Wigan scoring twice from kicks and not breaking our line once that i remember. Cusacks defensive work often goes un noticed but it was visible to see last night that he was hurting the big Wigan forward and made a real impact.

Thought our impact props of King and Thacks were a bit poor TBH but Dowes and Cusack more than made up for it.

Yaks workrate was was we should expect from him. He was taking some stopping, but as has been mentioned earlier, he was looking to get up quick and get a roll on. He did around 50 minutes in total - not bad for a prop when there were two others on the bench.

Used his size very well in defence, and whats often missed is his technique to slow their players down. We still appeared frightened to lay on though were Wigan seemed to do it better than us.

Agree on Kingy, if he continues in that form I cant see him playing much this season if there are few injuries. Bit harsh on Thacks, thought he made some great runs late on and on 2-3 occasions put the first tackler on his backside. On last nights showing I think the forwards will be the key for us this season.

King brought some aggression but meant he kept missing tackles trying to hurt people. Go forward wasnt there to be seen. Didnt notice Thacks in all honesty.
