Well Ganson decided to give what seemed like a penalty every minute or so in the 1st half at Headingley tonight including a few for lying on. Then in the 2nd I think he give 4 in total and 0 for laying on. It was as if someone had give him a word at HT as the ruck clearence didnt exactly improve in the 2nd.

I noticed the ref was very lenient in tonights Hull/Wigan game RE laying on at the tackle. Give em some time sure but it seemed like an age at every tackle at some stages tonight.

Hopefully it will continue. It can only be good for the game and should help to prevent it becoming the scooting contest that it's looked like turning into for a couple of years.

gansen was shocking, ruined the game for both sides. blew the whistle for every mortal thing in the first 20 minutes( 21 pens in the first 20 minutes).loads he could have let go and have a word on the run. then he let everything go which resulted in some nastiness creeping in.suddenly he resorted to blowing for everything again. the players must have been so confused. the guy wanted to be the game, not for the first time either. an enjoyable game was ruined by this idiot.

ballacks....
the ref should give the tacklers a count of 2 to get off him,if they are'nt off him then he should blow up, and if the defensive line is'nt set in time to prevent a scoot then so be it...

yeah...lets count to two....because every tackle is the same.
The best part is, if its a move by the RFL, they are only 9 years too late. Artificially slowing the play the ball will not get England anywhere near Aus or NZ.
The best part is, in Australia, we're gonna be speeding up the play the ball!
