Imo Briscoe was awesome tonight, made some excellent runs, came in field well looking for action. The kid is a beast, his power and strength for his age is something very special, just about every time he runs the ball he takes 3-4 defenders out of the game. Can't wait to see his power and strength when he's fully developed. What a future this guy has got in the game, i'd slam a 6 yr contract on his head now.

1 thing for sure is when Raynors fit Agar is going to have one major selection headache, will he drop Briscoe or will he play Briscoe in the centres with Calderwood outside of him or will he drop Calderwood and keep Briscoe on 1 of the wings. On the evidence of all the games i've seen him play, and i'm talking last season too, Briscoe has deserved his place in the team and shouldn't be left out for nobody.

I think Briscoe will be a direct replacement for when Raynor hangs his boots up in a few seasons.

For me i think the full back had lined up Horne and would have took him straight away.

Apart from that, i think the kid looked strong, still a bot of rawness in his game but he's in there to learn and the lad done good

Played awesome last night, and dont think he was at fault to be honest... played great and seems to have come on a lot in defence over the off-season, looking forward to watching him this season, think he's going to be one of our best players.

Right decision for me. Would have been a very risky pass and on early in the tackle count it's always better to play safe IMO.

hard to say without seeing a video replay, as it happened so fast, but i feel the fullback would have gone for the intercept in that situation, as even knocking on would have prevented the try.

Thought Briscoe was excellent last night, made very good yards every time he got the ball and he probably made more breaks than anyone else. When Raynor is fit, I think Agar will have a big dilemma with choosing Calderwood/Briscoe/Raynor. It'd be harsh to drop Briscoe considering he never puts a foot wrong but I can't really see Agar dropping Calderwood or Raynor tbh.

Horne was covered, Briscoe did the right thing, IMO.

If he had of passed there would be people screaming on here, "why?"
