Didn't get much game time. Does anyone know why? Agar said there were no injuries so it seems a tad odd. I can only remember him playing for about 10 mins

Yeah I noticed that too. Didn't seem to be carrying an injury at all, to be fair he has had a shortened pre season and will not be as fit as the rest of the squad

True, but because he only played a small spell it meant that some forwards had to put big games in. Good job they did.

Agar gets paid to make the difficult decisions, he may have thought it wasn't the right time to bring Washy on with the game so evenly matched.

did berrigan play the full 80?

Yes.

Washbrook was never going to get much game-time after being named on the bench, with five back-rowers in the squad. It was an opportunity for him to get a bit of time on the pitch though, which can only be of benefit after having no pre-season games.
