Great turnout from the fans considering everything. Hope it continues through the season.

It is when you take into account...

The poor season last year
The switch to friday games (although i think that will work out well)
The weather will have put off some Wigan fans travelling as well as some out of town Hull supporters.

To beat last years 13.5k (i think that was it) on the first home game, and we win and should really beat Celtic next week which may draw a few more out of the woodwork for cats game.

The Catalans game will be tough considering our record against them at the KC. Do you think the lack of an away presence means the crowd doesnt support the players as much which has a knock on effect?

Cannot really say too much as i have been an absentee for sooooo long (not out of choice) but i think the crowd tend to be more up for it when they have an opposition to swap banter with and trade songs with.
And when the crowd are firing the team on it can only help fire them up.
