Both of them got injuries making tackles on different occasions in the South-West corner of the pitch. Yeaman was down on his knees nursing his shoulder with a physio but got up to make a tackle they still scored though.
Byrne shot along the try line and hit the wigan attacking player at full tilt a metre from the line, so saving a try, but was "injured" (winded?) for a while.
Agar said there were no injuries and gave us a clean bill of health. Thought the lads did good. Radders led by example as always. Thorman gave us a kicking game and the fitness levels looked much better. Wigan began to run out steam but we got stronger. COME ON YOU 'ULL!!!!!

Thats the one I meant, but thought he had hurt his shoulder.

I thought Byrne had a really good game tonight . I also think he answered a few of his critics with his display , Solid defense , Safe under the high ball and much improved support play .

Byrne's tackle in the NE corner on their winger 1m from the line was worth the admission money alone. As I've said before on here he is one of our most professional and efficient players IMO plays to the very best of his ability consistently.
