Graeme had a good solid game, good to see him kick on from last year but on a couple of occasions I felt he needed to pass the ball to give Calders a run

Yeah I know what you mean but Calderwood didn't look comfortable against Richards all night so I think Horne thought his strength would be the better option on a few occasions.

OMG I agree with bighead  , Briscoe made the right choice in keeping hold of it.

I'm amazed how freakishly strong Briscoe is. His leg power to pull his self out of tackles is brilliant. As for putting himself in the shop window, with him playing on the wing for us at the moment. We don't really get to see what his passing game is like (Will he be another Yeaman?). Also how well could he read the game? Has he got the rugby brain to be a centre or is he best suited on the wing?

The first half Briscoe made some cracking runs and made more yards than a lot of players. Good performance and considering his age he can only get better.

Yep, the pass wasn't on then and neither was it when Thorman was looking for support with a Wigan player again between Horne and the ball.

Generally, Briscoe was great tonight. A couple of defensive lapses, jumping the line and leaving his winger, but with the ball he's ridiculously strong.
