On another thread, someone made the case for doing away with all this lurpack/federation nonsence, and just having 5 non british players (in france this would obviously be french). As a means to inprove th GB set up (snd subsequently french)
This got me thinking
A. Very few teams could do this
B. It would dramatically reduce the level of Superleague in the short term so the powers that be would not allow it.
But What would your team be (and everyone is fit). The rules are simple, you can have as many overseas players as you want but you can only play 5 in any given game. Im counting BRITISH BORN/COME THROUGH THE ACADEMY players here so Hanson ( he was born here wasnt he?) would count Mary wouldnt.

We need some second phase rugby or we will get hammered
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
