i know its early in the season but was awful tonight giving away penalty after penalty not to mention a few knock ons as well.

and dont get me started on penny and king....

Morley cost us a few, more unfortunate than by design. I'm not penny's biggest fan but didn't think he was especially poor tonight. King, he's not even average. I'd throw Monaghan's name into the frame, didn't see to much of him. And i'm still trying to work out why put so many kicks to Gardner when there was a rookie winger on the opposite side.

yeh im still trying to work that out as well. but you know with briers kicking game he could have been aiming for him all along...

This puzzled me too, considering Gardner is safe as houses under the high ball.

Rather than concentrating on their own strong side, ie, Kings side (who was up against Gidley whos awesome in defense), they should have tried to exploit saints make shift left side, consiting of Gilmour and Armstrong. Only a clueless coach like Lowes would make such a schoolboy error

Yep, totally agree with Gaz Numan. Rookie winger, and i think we only put 1 or 2 kicks in his direction. Should of put alot more pressure on him.

our tactics are to blame not Briers or Monas kicks! They are told to do high kicks for King to catch it.. only problem is someone has forgotten to tell King!!!

think lowes was trying to be too clever - thought saints would prepare for that, so tried to throw them off
