Horne played very well, I have no issue with him starting at centre, right now he deserves the spot.

Byrne is the safe call, Hall would add much more to the side from an attacking pov.

Happy with either but I just don't want to see Hall underused, he is the future of our club whereas Bynre isn't.

Agreed, which opens up the debate again of whether its best to go with experience or someone for the future that isnt ready yet?

Don't agree that Hall isn't ready yet. He is imo a much better proposition at centre than G Horne (though i do like Horne) and his broken field running and kick returns from full-back make him far more dangerous than Byrne. To leave him out of the side altogether would be a real cop out by the coach who's mindset is cleary about not losing rather than trying to win.

Motto of the week -

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

If Craig Hall doesn't start today I think its a sign of how things are going to go tactically this season. Also, if Hall doesn't play I will really feel for Calderwood. Starting outside G.Horne or Byrne will just mean him giving the same performances as he did at Wigan which is not what we want

"Richard Agar, get out of my club!!!"

If only Barbara Windsor was our chairperson...

I saw Motu earlier today, his left leg was strapped up and he was limping badly. I was hoping he would be fit for next week but looks like he may be out for a while.

Weres the go forward in the forwards with the starting team? IMO one of King, Thacks and Manu must be on the pitch at all times. I feel we may get overauled if this doesn't happen.....

Dowes, Cusack, Radford and Tickle all give really good go forward without doing anything spectacular IMO. We'll see tonight if thats the team but lets wait and see.

Your joking about the support play right

Hall at fullback was always pushing up on every play looking for an offload or a half break. If anything i would say support play and reading the game is Byrnes weak point.
