But it wont, will it?

You can bluff all you like but deep down you know Fev will never be a part of Super League.

Like it or not (and I don't like it that much) Super League is heading in a another direction and it's not the direction of small northern towns with tiny populations and small support bases... yes Cas are in this time, but I'm under no illusions that we're not drinking in the last chance saloon unless things improve by 2011.

Why you choosing to pick a fight with Wakefield I really don't know, try canvassing the stay away fans who were on the pitch protesting in 1995 chanting "I'm Featherstone till I die" and then proved they we're anything but.

Without crowds increasing to 4/5,000 at Post Office Road in the next couple of years you've really not got a hope in hell, sorry if that seems harsh, but I honestly think that's the reality and you probably know it.

you're right it is a bit daft when you think about how many posts you see with fans of varying clubs criticising fans from other clubs for having small attendances, considering they are the very fans that actually go :)

OK - a couple of months then!

I just don't people building up their expectations about the timing - as these targets are invariably missed, leading to disappointment.

No worries, there's an awful lot of positive activity - much more than we've seen previously - and if we don't give Ted the keys to Wakey when he's pulled this off, then no-one deserves it!

My council contact seemed quite sure that there would be something made public next month with regards to a proposed site.

If that is so, then that's good. But that's not how I understand it at this time.

I would be surprised if some kind of leak doesn't occur before then - but it aint coming from me! :D
