V. good team, I dont know much about their squad depth though.
[quote='Fishsta"']I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.

Another classic:
[quote='Fishsta']You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
Could, yes.
Will they, probably not. We have yet to see how the new playoff system works, but Leeds and Saints are still formidable. To make the GF they would need to finish higher in the table and draw Saints at home (facile, facile) - but not having done that last year I don't see the changes (other than Perry) being significant enough to change things - especially with the new coach.

Also don't discount the performances in the world cup - the French were simply awful - although looking at that side it is hard to find a frenchman
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Well 5 years ago and before that he must have been a world beater, because each time I've seen him play in Super League over the past 3 years he's impressed.

There are question marks about people like Perry and Walters as coach, but apart from Leeds, everybody has question marks against them going into this season.
They do look to have strenghtened though, the GF is probably their target and I think they can do it
