crocker is a different situation,in that he is not waiting on a court case,as his offence took place some time ago.he has provided references from the police in aus to back up his re-application,which he maybe should have done inthe 1st place,but now,all being well!!!

IIRC he said that they were being submitted after the original application as a kind of supplementary pack once the Consulate requested Croker's case papers. My guess would be that they weren't considered because they didn't form part of the original application.
Sounds daft, but it's the kind of thing that bureaucrats would do.

The fact Bird is still awaiting his court case to be heard it was always a 50/50 shot at best IMO. Look at it from an immigration point, they let Bird in then he gets found guilty they then look guilty of double standards.
Crocker is a completely different case, he has been found guilty but has changed his ways etc. I also expect Bird is also waiting to see how Crocker gets on with his resubmission.
