Who knows what'll happen tonight, I think that's half the appeal, I genuinely haven't a clue what'll happen.
I'm bracing myself for about 9.50pm, half the players on their haunches, others trying to undo the bandages on their arms & hands, whilst the odd one or two start to wander towards us, hands in the air, clapping the tremendous support. I'll be saying nothing, just tears in my eyes, then I'll break that silence to simply say "I hate that Ba$%ard, every sodding time."
I'll look across at my wife, she'll look despondant, unhappy, disappointed, a bit like she does after what I describe as 'good sex'.
I just can't wait, the start of circa 30 weeks of tears, boos & screams but is there anything, and I mean anything that I'd rather do with my weekends for the next 8 mths ? Not a chance.

PS
Can you advise me on what constitutes 'good sex'?
Depends what your after, a swifty etc.
Once, I started when Rogue Traders was on right, and finished when My Family was on, now, I don't know how far into Rogue Traders we were, I'm guessing 20 mins or so, so needsless to say, I was pretty damn chuffed with myself, othertimes, a PGTips advert has been more than enough.

At my stage in life, whatever is available.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.
