Was it the season after we did the same by beating Bratfud @ Odsal giving the pies the league again :?:

yes it was because we beat Saints in both seasons at home IIRC

I was on leave & went to Odsal it was freezing. Meadows scored a pearling try & Bratfud were down to 12 men because their FB got sent off for a cheap shot in the corner IIRC

The second Saints victory contained a couple of cracking tries - one from on-loan centre Steve Warburton where he swerved in and out of about 3 tackles in a 30 metre burst to the line and another by Scott Martin where he dribbled the ball 50 metres and won the race to touch down.

Leigh won 21-4 that day.

Derek Disley was a man on form with his commentary and made the Saints Ron Hoof sound like an amateur by comparison.

Looking forward to next season already!

1992 we won it for wiggin by beating saints 1993 we won it for saints by beating bradford
