Not to mentin the brick through the coach window after the game...which is one of the reasons I ain't going tomorrow

Chavvs wanting to fight during the game :?

Bricks through the coach window

20 sheets to get in :o

Just a totally different world from say Harlequins or Catalans away, i can understand why some wouldnt want to go due to the above reasons

A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain
coach.

Sat 27th April 2002 St Helens 12 Wigan 21 Edinburgh - Sat 4th May 2002 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Glasgow (Carlsberg dont do weeks, but if they did.....)

I normally go to all away games, but i'm having to cut back a little on away games this year. I'll still be going to most, but with the cost of a ticket being £20, then fuel added on top, and the fact that i'd have to leave straight from work, i've decided not to go.

Yeh I wouldnt be shocked if there was trouble at the game, there should be a big crowd from the home fans as its the first game for them.

I still hope to go though.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

I worry more about the 'blind' supporters who refuse to criticise and turn up irrespective of what utter tosh is put in front of them. It was these 'loyal' supporters who saw and were party to the club being relegated to Division 2.

Or the supporters who didn't go who, if they had payed their money, cheered their team on may have enabled the club to make 1 more sigining etc which may have saved the club from relegation??????

Depends Which way YOU want to see it, it doesn't make one way better than the other OR the reason the club went down!

What did you do in 79/80/81 when all this was happening?

What did you do in 96/97/98 over the Jack Robinson/Whelan struggle??

Did you pay any money over? Did you "Stand By" whilst Jack Robinson/Dave Whelan made a Mockery or our club?

Did you go? Did you stay at Home?

Tell me Charlie! What should WE ALL OF DONE seeing as you know the answer!

What should we do now to show our anger at the club for all these Grossly negligent things they havce done in the last 14 months and are doing that get you so aggravated that you have to have a go at the club at EVERY Opportunity?

Should we go this week?
Should we Make Protest Banners?
Should we Not go To the Next Home games?
Burn our season Tickets?

I'll tell you what! I'll try this !

I'll go if I want, I'll pay my money if I want, I'll stick up for the club/players/coaches/chairman if I want and you know what?

If we win Nowt again this season my actions won't have had any more difference than what yours will !

Try this statement " It's all these people who are slating Mathers/Noble/Lenegan et al before the Players/Coach/Chairman have even started the season that cost us the game Last Sunday as they undermined the confidence of the club as soon as the 1st thing went wrong, if there hadn't been all this negativity before Sunday we would have Won!"

Absolute Bollox I know but as true and no different to what you have put above!

I thanked him and went on my Merry way!

He wont give you one!

Some fans are very very loyal and will follow the team no matter what, some will pick the games they go to if the team are playing poor and thats fine.

To be honest, don't want one and you know why?

Because there is no answer!

I just don't like being told that if my dad paid his £3 every week & £1 for me to watch Wigan because he wanted to watch HIS TEAM play despite how bad they were (Jeez, just imagine what Chaarlie would have been writing on the internet if it was around in them days if he thinks this coach/team/chairmen are incompetent  )
Contributed in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER to Wigan gettin relegated !

And especially by a Jumped up Internet Know It All who doesnt have Half the Rugby Knowledge of some of the people Who did pay their money in them days and probably watched more rugby than he ever will!
