Alas it is true. The 'best' supporters said nothing/did nothing because one must blindy trust and show reverence to those in positions of authority. Hence, they never uttered a word or challenged anything sid by the then directos and we slid quietly into Division 2.

Aah, a bit of perspective. Fully agree with JTB, there is no such thing as a 'true' fan. A fan's a fan; if you've got the money, time and inclination to dedicate your life to it, then that's great. Equally, if you've not, then that is great too. The OP made his mind up not to go tomorrow and that's fair enough. It's a leisure activity, after all. As I posted elsewhere:
I, elsewhere, wrote:Nope. Things I currently have to worry about:
1. Whether my family in Australia are ok 2. Whether I will still have a job next month 3. Anything associated with my w*****g 4. Paying my mortgage
I watch Wigan matches as a bit of light relief from the rest of the week, the last thing I need is to start getting myself worked up about that as well.
Offending word removed for JTB

I worry more about the 'blind' supporters who refuse to criticise and turn up irrespective of what utter tosh is put in front of them. It was these 'loyal' supporters who saw and were party to the club being relegated to Division 2.
It's not as simple as 'just one game' though is it? We've had a few years of Wigan playing less rugby than any other team in the league. If there is another team who play less attractive rugby than Wigan, name them. I honestly don't think I'm that bad for not going to Hull but as my heading suggests, I think that the ones who go, deserve the utmost praise. Hope they don't disappoint. Got to admit, I'll be glued to the Saints/Wire game on Sky, with GMR in my ear. I expect to see some great rugby and hope to hear some.
yeah i bet you went to leeds last year in the semi final when the team was on a high and people thought we could have beaten them, your just fickle your trying to make a stupid point if you dont want to go away games i understa d with traveling and money and stuff but when you say that after 1 game is pathetic

Not to mentin the brick through the coach window after the game...which is one of the reasons I ain't going tomorrow
What do I think to the RL people who continually downplay everything in RL, and influence the stupid sheep to think like them? I think they are one of the reasons that RL will always be a minor sport.
