While these types of games are played in stadia like the KC, the international game will never take off. Sorry but not enough people are going to be interested by games taking place in small venues in Hull, Huddersfield and Wigan each year. The RFL need to use venues like Elland Road, COM, Anfield etc and stick with them. If they don't sell out at first, who cares. But grow into them and make the games feel like events

I sort of see your point but the RFL will not (rightly in my opinion) want to play games in half empty grounds because of the negative media coverage it would generate. Can you see 40000 turning up at the CoM for England v France? Aus v NZ?

I think your right, we cant talk about expanding the game and then put the games in the middle of the heart land of rugby.
and if people dont want to travel to the games then so what cant be much of a fan anyway.
I submit to you that if a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live.

Only a few short of 40k turned up at the COM for GB vs Australia before. And in the past, when these games haven't sold out, I don't think I have seen much media cover the fact the stadia didn't have all seats sold out. The RFL and many rugby fans are too paranoid when it comes to empty seats

you can easily fill a stadium if it looks like ti isn't heading for a sell out. 10 free tickets to every amateur club in teh country. Free tickets for jnr players etc etc
Any Eng/GB game should be at a 40,000 stadium imo and play the others in RL heartlands like KC.
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......
I think if they want to fill bigger grownds eg: elland road or COM they should make tickets afforable for instance behind the post £15 adults £5 kids down the side £20 n £10 we would sill make some decent profit if we fill it and at them prices we should.
