Given Noble is out of contract at the end of the season the longer he stays in 2009 the cheaper it gets to fire him as IL would have less of this years wages still left to pay.
So here is a prediction.
IL won't fire him until at least half way through the season regardless of results assuming we play badly.
Then with not long of the season left IL will act. It will look like he has done what the fans have asked and got rid of an under performing coach so his standing with the fans goes up and Nobby takes the blame.
In reality all he will have done is wait until it's cheap enough to fire him!

Of course a miracle could happen and Sunday was a mere blip and we go one to win the win the CC or the GF having blooded several youngsters along the way. Now where is that emoticon of a flying pig?
