I wouldn't take him back ahead of a better player who would cost around about the same wage because of the stories of his attitude.

If his attitude has changed and he's 100% committed to the cause then possibly yes.

No - for all his attacking efforts when he was here his defense wasn't anywhere near good enough. If we can't do better then we are really in trouble. I'd rather play Richards at FB or supposedly Roberts is a good FB.

Yes I know our current FB is probably worse than Ashton but longer term we need better than both Mathers or Ashton if we want to be a success.

When i have seen him in Union i have been impressed with his defence especially his goal line defence 1 on 1, although he has been used on the wing rather than at fullback.

Yes, he was suspect in defence, but for every try he conceded his probably scored 2. And lets not forget he was 18 when he played for Wigan.
