Anyone a little worried about Scotty switching wings this season?

are we going to lose in attack but gain in deffence?

Will not having an established centre playing inside him not bring out the full side of his game?

discussed last week mate on the celtic game thread. it was decided bluey didn't want watkins and hall together due to lack of experience

which for this week though? Hall and Watkins or Hall and Gibson?

i think gibson will play on the right and watkins on the left.as for the wingers who knows? could switch during the game IMO

With everyone fit we will go with scotty and smithy and senior and hall with broughton,gibson and watkins in reserve!
It makes sense not to have two youg uns together and if smithy can improve his distibution in the centre position i'm sure scotty will get plenty of trys this year and we also have ali on that side aswell.

Gibson is a left centre and Watkins is a right centre (as far as coming through the academy is concerned) so I reckon it will stay is it was last week with Gibson being a straight swap for Keith.

The Celtic game was Watkins' first start at right centre, Hall's first start on the left wing and Ablett's first start at loose in the SL Reg Rds.

So far Gibson has appeared 9 times on the left and 6 times on the right.

In SL yes but im on about where they played in academy. The above were due mainly to injuries by 1st team players at the time.

Out of interest TVOC how many times has McGuire played SH now and what were the results in these games? Out of memory we seemed to have done well while he has covered that position.

Wouldn't worry to much as he has already scored! But having two youngsters together like Hall and Watkins wouldn't work. Watkins did look a bit at sea in defence against celtic!
