SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Was that him then at the game on Sunday in the dugouts with Brough & Sculthorpe? It looked very unlike him because he looked fairly slim and gaunt - convinced myself it wasn't him.

Hope he has a speedy recovery :(

Ah poor bloke. Rubbish luck. Can this be 'cured' or is it something that you just have to live with on medication?

Medication for rest of your life I think. Mate of ours has it.

Unfortunatly given the weight loss linked to this i would think thats him done playing wise.

Gutted for him, horrible what this disease can do to your body.

Even by looking a the picture on the article you can see he has lost a lot of weight.

A woman i used to work with had it and it's a nasty illness to say the least. I really felt sorry for her at the time as it can be pretty embarrassing aswell.

Richard Moore looks shockingly thin on that picture.

That's not good, the players struggle to keep their weight on in season as it is.

I saw Nobby speaking to him by the dugouts and I didn't even realise it was him.

Let's hope he can keep it under control and eventually get back on the pitch, but of course that's the least of his concerns.

Good luck to him.
