Shocked and saddened.
I don't care if he never plays for us again (although I would be over the moon if / when he does) - as long as he gets himself fit and strong enough to lead a long and happy life. At least the fact that he has been diagnosed means that there is a good chance of that happening!

Not sure of the intracies, but can be de-registered, with payments to RM covered by insurance, so that SC space is freed up allowing another signing in his place.
This system could have been changed though, so time will tell.
A certain other West Yorks club had quite a thing going on, "retiring" players through "injury", claiming the insurance, before player then signed for another club a division down (obviously saying that the demands are less). Believe that loop hole has been closed now.
Lets hope he comes back bigger and better! Everything seems to be against us at the moment, but im sure it will just further motivate the lads even more! Get well soon Richie
