In that the squad list is listed in the way that some people would/could read it as a pencilled in starting line up.
Many other coaches put their squad lists in numerical order judged on squad numbers or by their likely line up.

Lowes has put his in something resembling a likely line up to the naked eye, but upon closer inspection, unlikely to be the line up.
At least he's not predictable.

Right.

Well, anybody that looked at that, and thought it was the side, with Penny at fullback, well, they need to eat more fish.

I hope for our sakes that you are correct.

You being serious ? C'mon.

Hicks played the last 16 or so rounds of SL at fullback.

Riley played there in Junior rugby and from all accounts thinks that in an ideal world that's his favoured position.

Bridge started last season there, obviously had a period of training with that position in mind.

He'd go to one of those three way before putting Penny there who's never played there, especially given the opposition.

Losing Gleeson, with PJ fit, easily get back to straight swap what we had at the back end of 2007.

1. Hicks
2. Riley
3. PJ
4. King
5. Penny

No dramas.

I suspect that you are judging everybody by your own high standards there, JWP. Not everybody is on the same wave length as you and I, as seen by the reaction on this thread.

Other coaches would obviously be too, so it really doesn't make any difference... just confuses a few fans, thats all.

Im confused.

Cant see Bridge, Riley or Penny at Full Back so it must be Hicks.

Who plays right wing? Dont think we can go with Riley if Penny is on the left as it makes us too lightweight. Bridge cant play on the wing or at centre so Johnson will be right centre. It must be riley on the right wing with Bridge on the bench.

King Left centre.

The rest of the team picks itself really. Expect Morley and Carvell to be starting props.

Higham hooker.

Monaghan and Briers in the halves.

Benny and Louis second row and Vinny at loose.

subs.

Rauhihi
Wood
Bridge
Blythe/harrison

I must admit im worried with both Penny and Riley in the same team.
