Every way you look at Dermott; passing, defence, scooting, enthusiasm, team morale, bravery (Paul Harrogan ) Derm was pure class.
People talk about how good Greg, Edwards and Hanley were (and they were), but that extra half yard that Derms gave them from the pass was a great help to them.
He's the best passer of a ball I've ever seen from dummy half, fast and accurate.

Me too, would have loved to have seen Joe Egan play, my uncle who watched Wigan all his life ( and lived to be 86 ), said Egan was the best he ever saw.
