I'm more interested in the SL of this and next years.
As NL teams cannot get in until 2011, I'm not making any adverse comments and wishing them the best in what may be hard economic times without the large injection of Murdoch money.
Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.

if you read the table properly comparing games to points etc we dont come off too great either!
If you only take the current sl teams in that table we are third from bottom with Catalans and HKR below us but they have played a hell of a lot less matches.
Maybe the RFL used this as a guide when handing out the franchises?
I'm sure the corresponding league table for the NFP,NL 1 would have us at the top , so what your point is I dont really know

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
