Noble has put Richards at FB plenty times before.
Richards, Roberts, Goulding, Carmont, Phelps.
I'd prefer Ainscough to play wing but I think he'll pick Phelps.

Yeah but never for wigan.....and probably not as well as Richards....Richards's best games for us have all come when hes been at FB IMO...he is class there and there is no other option...whether mathers be suspended or otherwise

Roberts looked well down on match fitness on Sunday and was blowing hard early doors so i'd be dubious of playing him at fullback where he'll have to cover alot of ground.
Richards has been superb when he's played fullback for us in the past and would be the safest choice.
I'd give Roberts a run out at full back, he looked pretty solid defensively after the first ten minutes, took a very tough high ball and absolutely nailed a player at one point. If he looks bad there Noble can switch him and Richards easily enough. I definitely wouldn't put Phelps and Goulding as a centre wing combo though, too inexperienced/defensively weak.

Must agree; while I rate Paddy on the wing I'd prefer him at FB while Amos gets his match fitness and used to the speed/style of SL.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.

I think we can count on Noble going for the safest option - Pat at FB...
Cautious to the end

On Tuesday evening the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee fined him £300 and suspended him for Wigan's next two matches, against Hull FC away on Friday and at home to Castleford Tigers a week later.

Agreed.
I think that Amos is a better fullback than Pat, but so soon on with us I would go with Pat.
