He's not an off the bench type of prop, you need him in there during the early exchanges when the big hits and big runs are flying in.

yes very true, but his game time has increased. i think he played all of the first half on friday

not even close, off after 15 came back 31/32

Even under Smith Leuluai started in 12 of his 31 appearances most notably at the beginning and the end of the season.

McClennan has never started Leuluai off the bench.

Leuluai's last 37 appearances for Leeds have been in the starting 13 at open side prop.
