By the way starbug, never said I was from France. If you read my previous posts I said that I was helping the club when they were in England.
Your negativity astounds me at times. But in life I have always come across people like you.

Yes I know , but it seemed to me that some assumed you were

My ' Negativity ' is not aimed at Toulouse or any club , it is aimed at the RFL's decisions that adversely effect the Championships and the clubs in it

If all the clubs in the Championships [ both of them ] were in good financial positions not requiering extensive funding from thier owners/BODS just to survive and were attracting good increasing attendances from thier local area's I would have no problem with a club from France being put into the competition

But very few if any clubs are in that position so any money available should not be wasted on travel and accomodation just to help prepare a French club for SL

In my opinion the only club that will prosper from this deal is Toulouse , not a single other club will benifit from it

As a last point , you dont know me at all , so to say you have ' come across people like me ' before is a nonsense

I dont know you at all , so would not be presumptious to say that I know your ' type '

What I do know is that I hope the staff at Toulouse remember me from the last time I met them , it was a costly night for me and I'm sure they will return the ' hospitality '

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

1 - Where did it state that I was a Frenchman.
2 - What is wrong with sharing information to make a trip comfortable, afordable and enjoyable.
3 - Why shouldn't the rugby league fraternity share information.

Lastly and most important, in my eyes at least, I will bend over backwards to assist anyone who would like some help in their attempts to attend games abroad, in England or anywhere else. To me, as I have previously stated, if anyone requires assistance, I will offer it.

Some of your comments are beneath contempt and I will not entertain them further. Any reasonable person who wants assistance only has to ask.

What

1 I know but it seemed to me that some fans on this board thought you were , I was just trying to help

2 Nothing wrong with the info you were offering to provide , it just seemed that some were asking for stuff you might not be able to find [ because they thought you were in Toulouse ] , sorry I was just letting them know that

3 No reason at all , have I ever posted anything different ?

If you dont like my opinion , tough , what that has to do with you offering help I havent a clue

I was hoping to attend the match in Toulouse but that might not be possible , I'm sure any leigh fans that do will enjoy thier visit

All the best

Carlos, thanks for your kind offer and I am sure your help will be invaluable to some, though I too assumed you were in France

Isn't the Lord Derby Cup Final the day after the Toulouse V Leigh game?

Carcassonne I believe?

Will check that one for you.
Carcassonne is about an hour from Toulouse on the motorway (Autoroute). Wouldn't mind going to that one myself. Should be a good final.
