A friend of mine who lives in Hull who lives in Hull has just texted me to say he's heard a rumour that we might be swapping the fixtures around with Hull KR. We go over ther on Sunday and they come here when we should have been in Hull.

Outrageous.

I've already bought by metrocard.

I really do not see this happening. I would feel bad for the bradford fans who would not be able to make the game and also for Kr fans who live outside Hull and could not make it or already bought train tickets.
All you need is a lot of grit on the terracing and it will all be fine!

I think it is perhaps easy to forget just how big an area Odsal is... gritting the whole place would be a time consuming job! Suppose it depends just how bad the terraces are!

be interesting to see how they look by end of today. We didnt get anymore snow last night and the lying snow has quite noticeably melted off overnight and i'm only a couple of miles from odsal. As a lot of people have said the pitch isnt really an issue, they'll leave snow on it as long as possible as it actually protects it. The terracing is the issue but I'd imagine they'd spray it with grit from the speedway track and that combined with rain forecast for tomorrow will clear it surprisingly quickly

I knew there was a reason they held speedway. Its now obvious why it wasn't needed once the switch to 'summer' rugby came along
